By focussing on areas of high unemployment they have created 3,500 jobs in some of the hardest hit places in the world: Madagascar, Nepal, Haiti, Indonesia and Mozambique. The scheme to, “hire a village and plant a forest” has already led to the planting of 250 million trees, and ensured an income for hard pressed people.
