5 Tips for New Parents to Prepare for a Newborn Photoshoot
Bringing a new baby into your family is a joyous and exciting time. A newborn photoshoot is a wonderful way to capture these precious early moments. To help you prepare and make the most of your session, here are five essential tips for new parents:

New-born's grow and change so quickly, so it's best to schedule your photoshoot within the first two weeks of your baby's life. During this time, babies are typically sleepier and more cooperative, making it easier to capture those adorable poses. Contact me while you're still pregnant to secure a spot in my schedule.
- Keep Your Baby Comfortable
A comfortable baby is a happy baby. Ensure your little one is well-fed and has a clean nappy before the session starts. Bring along any special blankets, soothers, or comfort items that can help soothe your baby during the shoot. My home studio is designed to be warm and cosy, but bringing a few familiar items from home can make a big difference.

Simple, snug-fitting outfits or swaddles work best for newborn photos. Avoid clothing with large logos, bright colours, or busy patterns that can distract from your baby's natural beauty. New-born's need frequent breaks for feeding, changing, and cuddling. Plan for these breaks during your session to keep your baby happy and content. My sessions are designed to be flexible, allowing plenty of time for you to tend to your baby's needs without feeling rushed.
